Community Tree Planting Day

Saturday 11th March 2017

Holyrood Park, Edinburgh City Centre

We will be working with a local community group to plant native trees on the lower slopes of Arthurs Seat, that great volcano in the heart of Edinburgh.

We are joining forces with a local community group to plant native species trees and add tree guards to protect them from little nibbling creatures such as mice or rabbits.

Lunch is being provided by the group and is likely to include soup and sandwiches. We will also provide warm drinks and snacks throughout the day.

Please let us know in advance if you have any special dietary requirements.

We will meet in the car park immediately to the west of Duddingston village where people park to feed the ducks on Duddingston Loch. There are buses that come right to Duddingston village.
